Co-chair KeAndra Cylear Dodds will welcome us back and introduce our first speaker, Devon Demings (METRO), who will provide an update on the progress of FSI (Fareless Systems Initiative). Next, Co-chair Eli Lipmen will briefly highlight features of the IIJA bill and lead a robust discussion on how the bill can transform transportation in South LA. Members will then split into breakout groups to brainstorm ways to apply IIJA funds to South LA needs and future South LA projects. To close, we have EXCITING updates to share about Rail to River (R2R) and how those recent developments will connect and support South Los Angeles residents.
