SLATE-Z is a collective impact effort that is dedicated to achieving sustainable and transformational change in South Los Angeles. Our work is driven by a strong cross-sectoral public-private partnership, which includes residents, businesses, educational institutions, governmental entities, and community-based organizations. This partnership enables the development of new initiatives, including pilot programs and policy solutions, that are designed to tackle the most pressing issues facing the community. All the initiatives undertaken by SLATE-Z are community-led and community-driven, reflecting the collective efforts of all partners involved.
